Description

Neutracalc prevents scale deposits in pipes. It is a green solution for Point of Use (POU – For local protection where space is tight) and for Point of Entry (POE – To protect the complete water circuit of houses and buildings).

How does it work?

Each bead is covered with imperfections called media templates that attract minerals (Calcium, Hydrogen carbonates) and combine them to form micro-crystals that slowly grow. They then break off and float freely through the system. These crystals make their way through plumbing systems without sticking to pipes, fixtures, valves or heating elements. The first scale prevention media based system was born: Neutracalc.

Good to know

Tips & tricks to keep NeutrAcalC active over the years

  • Do not install Neutracalc on a new copper installation, as copper ions will attach to the media and prevent it from neutralizing the calcium ions
  • Replace the media every year for POU and every 3 years for POE to optimize performance.
  • Do not use chemicals that are incompatible with the applied technology
  • A small deposit on the metal surface is absolutely normal as crystals are still in solution. This deposit can easily be wiped off using a dry cloth. Note, the surface may be bright or dull but it does not affect the use or performance of the device.
