The SoftGuard H monitors the residual hardness of the water after softening. An ion-selective sensor measures the residual hardness of the water at two-minute intervals and compares it with the set limit value. If this is exceeded, the device triggers an alarm. A direct connection to the control valve of the softener ensures that regeneration of the active softener column is triggered in the event of an alarm.
